AMF (artificial mineral fibres)

Artificial mineral fibres are still regarded as ideal thermal insulation materials. The current generation of AMF products is regarded as harmless.
Some of the older products have however been found to
have carcinogenic properties.

Remediation of AMF materials is carried out by trained personnel in compliance with the German directive TGRS 521 (Technical Rules for Hazardous Materials: AMF).
